The Leopard is extremely agile and can walk up and down the tree with ease. It had a spotted deer kill on tree and we spent about 1 hr with this Leopard.

I wanted to capture the Bonnet Macaque drinking water. But was late in releasing the shutter. When I previewed the image, I noticed that the Jackal was also there. This was an young one.

This is the endangered species found along the cauvery river at Bheemeshwari. They are used to human presence and very easy to photograph.

It was good to see this heard of Elephants having bath at a waterhole on Boodhipadga Road.

This heard was not disturbed with our presence as we were hiding behind a bund and photographing them. They enjoyed in the water for around 20 mins before moving on.

We were returning from the morning safari and saw this Tusker on the side of the road. We knew it would cross the road and waited further down the road. After some time it did cross the road and I was able to capture it on my camera.

This heard of spotted deer was passing through a small opening in the bushes. And they piled up to cross it. I decided to use a smaller aperture of f11 to get a good depth of field.

This particular pack of wild dogs was regularly sighted at Kabini. We were lucky to come across it. Shooting them walking across the thick under growth with a 500mm and a 1.4 converter was quite a challenge. It was good to get one of them in the opening.

I was at the right place at the right time. I watched this Sambar as it walked across this tree. The Deers normally reach for the fresh leaves in the trees. I anticipated it and waited for this moment. I was glad I could capture this.

It was raining heavily during our boat ride in the Kabini backwaters. We came across this lone elephant which had come down to drink water. I managed to shoot it handholding my 500mm lens from the boat.

We noticed this behaviour among the squirrels on a cold morning. They used to cuddel up and stay like this for quite sometime. Probably to beat the cold.

We were doing the boat ride when we suddenly came across this Fawn along with its mother. They both ran in the water behind some bushes. I was able to get the fawn in action.

This is India's largest Antelope. There were a large number of these at the Park. This was my first encounter with these Blue Bulls in the wild. This was shot at Sapan Mori in the park. Sapan Mari was my favorite place in the park. It always has something in store for you.

This is the same one as the previous. It was casually walking past me, stopped for a moment, gave this stare and then carried on. I shot most of the Nilgai's which I found in the open.

This group of Rhesus Macaque was crossing our path while we were returning from an unsuccessful search for the Pythons. I saw this patch of light and waited for them to cross that point. When that big one waited at that exact point, I was thrilled and was about to press the shutter, and then this cute little fella appeared from nowhere, stood beside it and completed the picture. I was more than happy to shoot it.

I underexposed it by 1/2 a stop during post processing.
